Regular blog readers will remember I mentioned that a Wales on Sunday journalist spoke to me at the book signing I did in Newport Waterstones. He interviewed me earlier this week and this is the result.
Some of it is taken from the previous article in The Sunday Mercury but there is more focus on the events in a certain village, giving it a more Wales connection.
Academic Alys has now found a name for me – media tart. I’m going to find out now if anyone else is interested in this ‘story’, maybe one of the ‘real life’ magazines. It’s about four years old, but it’s just now that I’m taking my revenge on the village from hell.
As I always say, all publicity for the book is worth it.
Cardiff Underwater
From ‘hounded out’ to washout. Our garden flooded on Friday evening and I was drenched just walking from the car to the house. Thank goodness it wasn’t as bad as in some places in Wales, though.
The rainfall in Cardiff caused Pride to be cancelled. I was gutted because I was looking forward to meeting some friends I haven’t seen in a while, more filming for the Hacio programme which is coming up and selling some books while on the Proud2BMums stall. Instead I was sitting in the house being miserable. Well, I did get some writing done so it wasn’t all a washout.
